The first day of the Digiday Programmatic Summit will stream live this afternoon, starting at 4:10 p.m. ET.
The three-day event, held in Nashville, brings together top brands, agencies and publishers around the pressing issues involved in the next phase of automated buying. Speakers over the course of the event include executives from Turner, Essence, MailOnline, Vox and Gawker.
Speakers today include Alyson Papalia, vp of digital business strategy and operations at Forbes Media, on the myths of programmatic. Melissa Baldwin of Kohl’s and Barry Lowenthal of The Media Kitchen will weigh in on how to build a digital culture in organizations that depend on media buying and selling.
Tomorrow’s highlights include a keynote is by Rana el Kaliouby, chief science and strategy officer at Affectiva on transforming digital experiences through emotion sensing and analytics, Stephano Kim, svp, ad operations & chief data strategist at Turner, on the future of programmatic television and Michael Thomas, global head of media buying agency Essence, will speak to capturing the right data to use to target marketing messaging.
