50 B2B Marketers on the Move – Winter 2025
By Lee Odden Did you know that as of today, there are over 5,000 B2B Marketing jobs posted on LinkedIn in the United States alone?
Despite the reputation of B2B marketing as lagging behind, the industry is dynamic with many opportunities for marketing leaders to rise above the chaos and shine.
Part of our marketing mission at TopRank Marketing is to elevate the industry by putting a spotlight on talent. We shine that light in several different ways including celebrating B2B marketers that have recently been promoted or landed jobs at new companies. Many of these role changes are a reflection of trends in marketing and the skills needed to move B2B brands forward.
Speaking of trends, according to Robert Half, 57% of marketing and creative leaders are hiring for new permanent positions but 91% of those leaders find it challenging to find skilled talent in the current market. With the advance of AI and pressures to perform, there’s a growing gap between what B2B companies need and the skills available. This gap is echoed in LinkedIn’s 2025 Workplace Learning Report, where 49% of talent development professionals say their executives are concerned that employees do not have the right skills to execute our business strategy.
But here’s the thing: where there’s a gap there’s an opportunity to close it and that’s exactly what many of these B2B Marketers on the Move have done, resulting in their career advancement.
Marketing plays a critical role in helping B2B brands stay relevant and engaged with buyers during uncertain times.
