Good times with people at DigiMarCon. A real moment from my conference archive.

DigiMarCon World returns to Las Vegas November 4–6, 2026, at Luxor Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. If you want useful marketing ideas and people you can talk through them with, put it on your calendar. My recommendation comes from speaking at DigiMarCon and working with people I have met through the conference.

You can read the official event details. But I would rather show you a few moments from the room: last year’s Vegas session, a little onstage banter, and the kind of practical teaching I bring to the circuit.

Last year’s Vegas room: people teaching what they actually do

In our 2025 Las Vegas recording, Jack Wendt and Dylan Haugen walked the audience through the Content Factory: produce, process, post, and promote. They explained how a talk, interview, or other real recording can become useful content across your channels.

Watch this short extract. They are onstage explaining a process they use, with a real audience in front of them. Later in that same session, they demonstrated editing a recording and turning its transcript into an article. That is the kind of learning I value: you can see the steps and decide how they fit your own work.

Dylan wrote his own firsthand recap of that Vegas session. What mattered to him was helping people turn their experience into something others could learn from. A conference gives you a place to practice that, ask questions, and compare notes with people doing the work.

There is room for a little fun, too

The recording also has a moment where Jack talks about Dylan being a professional dunker, then admits that being taller does not mean he can touch the rim. It is a small exchange, but it shows the people behind the presentation.

That is part of why I like these events. You get to know someone beyond their job title. A conversation at a table or after a session can give you enough context to ask a better question, share an honest problem, or keep in touch afterward.

Bring a business problem you want to work on

One example from my DigiMarCon New York recording is about making a service business repeatable. I compare customization to ordering from a defined menu: you can give customers options while keeping a process your team knows how to deliver.

The useful follow-up question is simple: what could you make repeatable in your business? Bring that question with you. It could be a slow reporting process, a lead follow-up problem, an unclear offer, or a pile of videos nobody has used.

You will have a better conference experience if you can explain what you are trying to improve. Instead of collecting every new tool, look for a process you can test when you get home.

Show the work behind the advice

Experience, expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness should show up in what people can inspect. In this post, you can see actual conference photos, hear the people who presented, and follow the original recording and recap.

That is also a useful lesson for your marketing. Document your own work. Explain what you did and what you learned. Let people see the source. A stage appearance is one piece of experience; the substance you share is what makes it useful.

If you want a practical place to start with AI, use the marketing agent starter plan we prepared for DigiMarCon attendees. It begins with one goal, one owner, one weekly report, and one small test. Bring your business question to the conference, then use the plan to turn what you learn into an accountable next step.

Make the trip count

My suggestion is to arrive with three things: a question you need answered, a real example of your work, and enough room in your calendar to meet people. Ask how a speaker’s idea applies to your situation. Take notes you can turn into an action. Get permission before recording or sharing someone else’s conversation.

Before you leave, pick one change to try with your team. Give it an owner and a date. That is how a good conference memory becomes something useful at work.

If that sounds like the kind of event you want, Plan your DigiMarCon World visit. Vegas is coming up November 4–6. Come ready to learn, meet people, and bring an idea home that you can put to work.
